The project consisted of refurbishing two existing depot and office buildings into circa 1600 sq metres of newly fitted out office space. The existing main building was over two floors, with a single storey stores to the rear, and a courtyard in between. The works involved managing new mechanical and electrical installations, complete new curtain wall to the external façade, new partitions and joinery, suspended ceilings, carpet and vinyl flooring, two kitchenette’s, new canteen, blinds, decoration and new tarmac to the courtyard. Sustainable technology installations used as part of the project included the Topvex FC02 high efficiency heat recovery units. The works required shutdown and recommissioning of existing mechanical and electrical services.
